It's definitely going on my list of recommendations, particularly for the many older teens and adults who loved Twilight and come into the library looking for similar reading material.

I'm glad you enjoyed this one! I read it a few years back, or maybe last year- hard to remember- and absolutely adored it. I agree, it was MUCH too short. I gushed about it so much to the librarian that she put it on the "Everyone Must Read This" list of books the library emails out now and then. :)

She does, actually - it's called The Fetch and looks to be a fantasy story that incorporates Rasputin.

Congrats on finishing your challenge! I read this one for the challenge too and really enjoyed it. And, you are right, it's so much more than a ghost story. I wonder if she's written any other books - must look into that!

glad to hear you enjoyed it as well! Have you read her other book? I looked at the synopsis on Amazon and the inclusion of Rasputin intrigues me. I might have to add that one to the TBR list.

I read this book a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It was subtle and downplayed and just lovely. I agree- I would have liked it to have been longer.

Thanks! After posting to the RIP reviews site, I noticed I wasn't the only one to read this book for the challenge; I think 3 or 4 other people did as well, all with glowing reviews.

The other one looks like a good read as well - I wish I could remember where I first read about both books!

And thanks - I am feeling quite accomplished right now!
